CCAI SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

In order to assist members of the Connecticut Chapter of the Appraisal Institute at all levels of professional development, the Board of Directors has approved implementation of Scholarship programs with funding by CCAI, private donations and by financial assistance from the Connecticut Appraiser's Education Foundation.  The following are the Scholarship programs currently available to the membership during the education year 2010:

  • The Michael J. Aldieri Memorial Scholarship - Available to any Associate Member who is actively pursuing the MAI or SRA professional designation.  The scholarship will provide reimbursement for up to full tuition of any required course offering in the designation path.  Interested Associates must be CCAI members in good standing, demonstrate a commitment to obtaining a designation, and must provide a written recommendation from a designated member of the Appraisal Institute.  Applications may be obtained by contacting the CCAI Office at (860) 482-9992.  Click here for more information on this scholarship program.

  • CCAI Advantage Scholarship - Available to current Affiliate Members who wish to upgrade skills and change to Associate Member status.  For certain basic and entry level courses and seminars, up to full tuition reimbursement will be made available.  The Affiliate Member must first upgrade membership status to Associate Member, choosing either the SRA or MAI education path and apply for tuition reimbursement for a qualifying course or seminar by contacting the CCAI Office at (860) 482-9992.

  • William N. Kinnard, Jr. Memorial Professional Development Scholarship - Available to any Designated CCAI Member for applicable "specialty" courses to assist in developing special skills in a chosen area of expertise or which represent special service to the Connecticut Chapter as a whole.  Full or partial tuition and/or seminar / meeting participation cost reimbursement depending upon course / (seminar / conference) and availability of funds.
Chapter Members may apply for no more than 1 Scholarship Award per calendar year and no more than 2 Scholarship Awards during their period of membership.
