Positions Available

Full-time Review Appraiser positions are available periodically at the U.S. Department of State.  The State Department has two groups that perform real estate functions:  one is focused on domestic real estate and the other focuses on actions outside of the U.S..   The group that works internationally is with the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) and the offices are in Arlington, Virginia.

There are three ways to secure Review Appraiser positions at OBO.  Positions are listed in three places, depending on the hiring method.  All positions are full-time; some are contractor positions, and some are direct-hire GS positions.

  1. Direct-hire GS positions (GS-14) are through USAjobs.gov.    There is a posting coming up  - maybe at the beginning of January.
  2. Contractor position called Personal Service Contractor (PSC) which is generally a 2-year position and typically renewed.  www.Monster.com
  3. Contractor position called Third Party Contractor (TPC).  Current vendor who brings in Review Appraisers is called All Native Group.  This is, generally, the most active (and quickest) hiring method but no positions are listed at this time.  https://www.allnativegroup.com/
